Admescope’s top expert on physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling, Dr Aki Heikkinen, has yet again contributed his scientific expertise, along with several other world leading experts in PBPK, to a collaboration which resulted in an interesting article published earlier this year. The article assesses PBPK modeling as a tool for predicting intestinal metabolism of UGT substrates. Expanding our in vitro metabolism services
We have included aldo-keto reductase (AKR) and carbonyl reductase (CR) to our non-CYP metabolism service portfolio. Both of these NADPH-dependent enzymes catalyze ketone groups to alcohols and can be relevant for the metabolism of ketone containing compounds. Check our complete list for non-CYP mediated metabolism services on our website.
